Dr. Brian Benson, D.C.

Upon graduating, he moved to Buffalo, New York, where he practiced chiropractic and had the honor of adjusting many pro football players, many of whom you may be familiar with. He returned to Palmer for a few years as an adjunct faculty instructor in the technique department. He developed the Palmer College domestic clinic abroad program as a faculty member. This allowed students to travel to deliver free care to the Blackfoot Nation and the Navajo Nation during the North American Indian Days and at the Tuba City fair.
While at Palmer, Dr. Benson, D.C., met his future wife, Dr. Joanne Therriault, D.C; together, they moved to Prescott, Arizona, and founded Precision Spinal Care in 2001. Dr.Benson, D.C, enjoys educating his patients with various analogies and humor that many find easy to understand and relate to. An avid sports fan, and in his past work with Buffalo Bills players, he loves to work with athletes and golfers as he understands the importance of an adequately balanced spine and muscular system.
His technique allows those athletic patients to perform better due to a well-balanced spine. Dr. Benson, D.C., is trained in an upper cervical process called NUCCA. Many of his patients with Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and chronic migraines are helped with this specific adjustment. Dr. Benson, D.C., enjoys helping his patients achieve better health via the non-invasive approach of chiropractic care and looks forward to meeting you soon.

In 2001, she graduated Cum Laude and received an award for the extracurricular work she was involved with and the president’s list award. While in chiropractic college, she met her husband, Dr. Brian Benson, D.C., and decided to make Prescott, Arizona, their new home, where they founded Precision Spinal Care in 2001. She has been in practice for over 20 years, but she still feels passionate about what she does. She cares for patients of all ages, from newborns, children, families, pregnant moms-to-be, and the retired community. She is skilled in various techniques that allow her to care for anyone needing chiropractic. She enjoys educating her patients about their condition to understand better what has happened and how best to resolve their spinal problems.
Overall she is a trustworthy people person and finds great satisfaction in connecting with each patient and feels she is privileged to be able to spend her time helping people achieve health and wellness with chiropractic.
Dr. Kathleen Clarkin- DeDio, D.C.

Following her graduation, she was the assistant director of the Rock Island outpatient extern clinic, where current students practiced their skills under the supervision of licensed chiropractors. Throughout her career, she has owned and operated three previous successful practices in both PA and NY. Some of her patients have included professional athletes of the famed Pittsburgh Steelers!
She had recently relocated from Long Island, NY, with her husband Mark and their three cats. She is excited to be here and loves exploring what Prescott offers and the beautiful weather! She is an avid member of her local Christian church, and as a Christian, she has been able to give back by providing chiropractic healthcare thru mission trips she has taken to Guatemala.
Dr. Clarkin- DeDio, D.C. loves providing care to patients of all ages with various conditions such as spinal pain, sciatica, stenosis, pinched nerves, arm pain, and headaches and believes that each case is specifically tailored to her patient’s individual needs. She is passionate about her goal of restoring health and providing quality chiropractic care to patients aiding them to obtain and maintain good health, allowing them to live their lives to the fullest. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to meeting you!
Dr. Emma Stimatze, D.C.
Dr. Emma Stimatze grew up on a farm in Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Life Science. After reestablishing K-State’s chiropractic club, her interest in chiropractic grew. Dr. Stimatze graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2024.

Through her completion of clinical coursework, she is proficient in Palmer Package, including Diversified and Activator techniques. She also became certified in Webster Technique following her graduation. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing piano, and running with her dog, Louis.
Dr. Stimatze is accepting new patients. She looks forward to meeting the people of Prescott and helping patients achieve their health goals.

I was excited to join Precision Spinal Care in 2023 to be able to expand my receptionist skills in the medical field. I love that I am working for a company that cares for and about the people in our community. I like to be in the great outdoors of our State, kayaking and hiking are my favorite activities I enjoy the most.

I grew up in Northern California where I received an associate’s degree prior to moving to Arizona. I am a mother of 2 and have been working in the healthcare field for 16 years. I joined Precision Spinal Care in 2022 to expand my knowledge in the medical field.
Phyllis Kittel
Licensed Massage Therapist
I joined the Precision Spinal Care team in August of 2017. I wanted to be able to slow down my own private practice and to be able to work along side chiropractic. I originally studied massage therapy in beautiful Santa Barbara California, but have been in Prescott since 2005. I have loved being able to create relationships with patients and the staff along the years. I am a mom of four awesome kids and have two adorable twin granddaughters. I love spending time outdoors and being with nature.
Shayna Granillo

I joined Precision Spinal Care back in February of 2021. Once I received my license for massage therapy I was working in the Spa Industry—and I felt in my heart this was not where I belong. After working in the medical field as a caregiver and certified nursing assistant, I knew that being in the medical field is where I needed to be. It was the best choice I made to join this team! I specialize in injury rehabilitation, neuro muscular reeducation and cranial sacral massage. I am a mom, wife, and medical professional. I love playing sports, reading, and telling jokes. Like: “How do you know a joke became a dad joke? It became apparent.”

I joined Precision Spinal Care in August of 2020. I studied for my license in the suburbs of Chicago, then later decided to move to Arizona to expand my horizon. I was really excited to become a part of the Precision team because I enjoy helping others and making them feel more comfortable in their own skin. I love music, art, philosophy, dogs and any type of body work.

I joined Precision Spinal Care in December of 2023. I attended massage school in Prescott with the goal of working in a medical office. I plan to attend medical school after completing my bachelor’s degree, so massage therapy is a good stepping stone to get me working in the medical field. I love reading, drawing, and playing with my dog, Doodle.
Kasey Michelin
Licensed Massage Therapist
With over 18 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Kasey specializes in advanced myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, and trigger point therapy. Kasey is a NCBTMB accredited prenatal and hot stone massage instructor and has taught at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies. She is currently expanding her education at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. Her focus of study is in Ayurvedic medicine and her yoga teacher certification.
With her firm belief in the body’s ability to heal itself with silent and gentle guidance, Kasey brings a holistic approach to every session. Outside of work, Kasey volunteers with the Yavapai Humane Society and the Salvation Army, dedicating time to yoga, nutrition, service, and community.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find me spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, or on the soccer field. I’m excited to become more involved locally by coaching youth soccer and continuing to play competitively, giving back to the community that has given so much to me.
